The World 24hr Ultra Marathon Championships are being held in Bergamo, Italy on 02 – 03 May 2009.
I have little idea who will win – but I will wager that Britain will not achieve a medal in either the men’s or the women’s event.
The GB women are:
Sharon Gayter
Pauline Walker
Lynne Kuz
Vicky Skelton (my bet for first Brit woman)
Other runners to watch include Jamie Donaldson, particularly if she can remain in contact with the Russians.
The sole Brit male is Stephen Mason.
